10 Effective Home Remedies to Remove Tan Naturally

Turmeric & yogurt

How to apply

  1. Mix a bowl of yogurt with a pinch of turmeric to make a thick paste.

Oatmeal & buttermilk

  1. Blend 2-3 potatoes together and put the paste directly on your tanned areas.
  2. Alternatively, you can cut a potato in half and apply it to the affected area. 
  3. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes before you wash it off with water. 

Lemon juice & honey

The bleaching properties of lemon juice assist in removing skin tans quickly. Meanwhile, honey is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. The antioxidants in honey help heal sun-damaged skin.  

How to apply

  1. Add some honey to fresh lemon juice and apply it to your skin.
  2. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash off.
